    Carburetor hose identification

    Please lend me your expertise;

    There are three hoses on the carburetor on the ATC200ES Big Red:

    1)larger diameter near the top left
    2)smaller diameter below #1 about midway on the left
    3)smaller diameter on the bottom of bowl

    What do each of these do?

    I surmise the largest receives gas from the tank but I am looking for the purpose of the other two as it pertains to routing the hoses.

    Thank!

    Vent lines. And like you said the fuel line.

    You're right on the large top line - it should be fuel supply (carbs on the 200E and 200ES are practically identical AFAIK)

    Bottom of the bowl is a drain line. There should be a small flathead screw next to that line - back it out, and you'll drain the carb of fuel for long term storage. My 200E has a small rubber line that goes from there behind the transmission case and just sticks out the bottom of the machine. Probably not EPA compliant to drain those two ounces of fuel out on the ground but nobody's looking, and I only do it twice a year anyway .

    I've not heard of nor seen a third line on those carbs, perhaps you may be missing a jet screw or something? (If it's missing, it may look like a hose port) It may also be an aftermarket carb that has a third line for an unknown reason, but I'm not really qualified to make any guesses on it.

    EDIT: I just took a look at the carb on my 200E, and it looks like the small tube coming off the side is an overflow tube. The small rubber hose coming off it just went to the side of the engine, although it didn't look like anything's ever come out of it.
