Hey guys - have finished the aesthetic part of my restoration on this wicked 84 200es and took it for a spin. She rips but the brakes are hard to come by. I've never had anything with drum brakes before so not super sure where I do the sanding ( on the inside smooth surface of the drum I think) and what about the shoes, so you do anything to give them a touch more "bite". They are mainly above 2.2mm except one thin part.. Just hoping to get a little more braking power. Thanks!
