New but not to 3 wheels!

Joining and sounding off from central-ish Alberta. Started when I was 6 and still on 3. Or sometimes 2 even when "on" 3, but sometimes legitimately 2. Or 4. [emoji1]

    A fellow Canadian.

I have a Big Red. I think it's an 83 200 cc. Dual range, reverse and shaft drive.

I had an 86 Tri-Z, but I ended up selling it a couple years ago. I really liked it, but it wasn't an ideal family/hunting machine. Got tired of riding for 5 minutes and then waiting 15...😉

I would like to get another sport machine, but a 4 stroke like a Honda 350X. I'm kind of a Kawi guy too, so a Tecate would be cool too.

I would still like to get something similar in a 4 stroke though. Maybe a Honda 350 X. I'm kinda a Kawi guy too, so a Tecate would be cool too.

If your Big Red is 200cc, shaft drive, with reverse then it's an 84...the only year they were made with those specs. Welcome to the site from your neighbouring Province - Ha ha

I like my 4 strokes. Thumpers. I like my Honda's. Personal choice.

Yeah, it would just make more sense for me to get a 4 stroke. The only real reason that the Tri-Z went away was just the fact that it was not an ideal candidate for low rpm running and mud.
