84 300r led conversion

Im trying to set up some leds on my 84 300r build. Im trying to run a rectifier off of a trx200sx its a 5 wire 2 yellows 1 red 1 black 1 green. Im going to run a battery to help . Anyone have a wiring diagram for a trx200sx? Or a similar 5 wire rectifier diagram? Thanks

I don't have the answers you are looking for, but don't LED lights draw significantly less power than incandescent halogens??? Or is the problem that LED lights don't take to the varying voltage of your original electrical system?

You have the right idea of using a rectifier to convert your ac unregulated voltage to regulated dc voltage. To use your rectifier correctly, you need a floating ground coming from your stator.
I have written a walk through on this process pertaining specifically to a 350x but the overall process is the same.

If you have only two wires coming out of the stators what i did was isolate the grounds for the lights and just used the ground from the battery. I used one of the cheap rectifiers on sleazebay for like $5. I did this on my 200x,made a lil battery box and wired up recifier,i just had to make sure the ground was isolated from the rest of the bike, not grounded to the frame anywhere,used the battery ground. The two yellows should come from the stator,red to charge battery black to lights green to ground if my memory is correct. When you say 300r is that a 250r punched?
