Just because I put racks on 'em don't make 'em utility. They're 400 Scramblers, not Sportsmans They do nicely at doing a bit if both.

4 x 4 comes in handy in some muddy holes. Not much for dunes where we are.

I'll run each machine for a day. 30 miles on the hardtail will probably beat the crap outta me. Save that one for Sunday.

I have an "overwhelmed" Wife that thinks me asking for 1 weekend out of the year to ride is being "selfish". She's pregosaurus rex right now, so I can't really do anything but be her emotional whipping post…so I live my trike'ing life vicariously through you guys that still get out and do it.

First ride is tomorrow. Today was R&R. Quads tomorrow, trikes on Sunday.

We'll take the Rabey Line Trail south of Hill City to the Hill City Trail and go south about 16 miles to the Soo Line North Trail.....



Then head northwest to the Moose River Connector and take that to the Moose River Trail, make one of the loops and head back home. My guess is it'll be a 45 to 50 mile day.




It'll be a long day, I'll be up by 5, all these other slackers sleep in so we may not get on the trail till 9. Pussys. I'll start cooking breakfast around 6:30, see if that gets their asses out of bed.

Neighbor brought his gopro, should be able to get some video. Supposed to be some "challenging" hills on the first part of the Hill City Trail, it's in close proximity to a ski resort.
