    Newbie

Hey all!!! My name is John and I own a 1982 250R and a 1987 Big Red 250ES. Have the R running strong but as of right now I am trying to locate the front caliper and front brake line. This is my first 250R but the fun factor is beyond 1000+! As soon as I figure out how I'll post photos of the bikes, just glad I found this forum!

Welcome! eBay will probably be your best bet for the caliper and brake line. And I'm not 100% certain, and maybe others will chime in, but I think the R shared a front brake caliper with the 200x and possibly other machines. It may be worth looking into.

Why in gods name would you buy a 34 year old caliper when you can buy a much newer kx80 rear, thats why this website exists, so we can share this type of info and put it to use

The kx caliper can probably be had cheaper too. I was just pointing out that they're out there (R caliper).
