    '81 185s w/front shocks??

I just picked up a very used '81 185s, according to the frame sticker anyway, but it has front shock forks. All my research I cannot find where 185s came with front suspension. The front forks also do not bend in at the top, they are perfectly straight bottom to top. Would this front end be off of another??

Sounds like a 200x front end. Does it make the bike side up high in the front? Post some pics. if you can.

Thanks, and the pic looks like it was even on this website.....my forks must have been changed out even so, they do not bend inward at the top like those do, it looks kind of funny, esp since it has no headlight. Haven't even got to ride the think yet, needs a new gas tank which should be here by Wend or Thur from Beatrice, the old one has been JB Welded so many times badly that it just rains gas along the seams. Thanks guys!!

    check these

Do your forks look like these? http://www.files.3wheelerworld.com/Sads/sHonda1985atc200x.jpg
If so, they could be 200x forks. If the front is sitting high you can adjust this style by sliding the tubes up in the triple tree some.
