What is the best brand oil to use in your ride? I personally think royal purple is the best but does anyone have any other opinions or reasons they run other brands. Obviously synthetic is better.

GN4 is all I use. 10W-40 in summer 10W-30 in winter.

Cleanest freshest cheapest easiest to get ATV or MC oil in my 4 strokes. I use the same stuff in my 2-stroke transmissions, too.
Usually that means Valvoline ATV oil from the closest ADvance Auto Parts.
Although, I believe the 350X has some fancy synthetic Maxima oil in it now - it was on sale.

I run full synthetic Lucas Oil (10W-40) in my '82 200E. Haven't been using it long enough to comment from personal experience, it ain't cheap but my father swears by it and has been using it in his bikes his entire life.

GN4 plus is what i like to run but the Valvoline atv 10w-40 oil is what i run most of the time.

plain old 10w-40. just the conventional Mobil 1 usually. this time it was the Super-tech 10w-40 from wal mart

like plain oil motor oil? it needs to atleast be some kind of oil designed for wet clutches like a motorcycle or atv oil. regular car oil probably isnt the best thing for it.

The guy that had my 85 200x before me put a synthetic in it and now the clutch slips BAAAD! Don't use synthetics! Spend the extra $3 and buy good oil if nothing else just for the peace of mind.
