The part where the shock is supposed to bolt to the frame seems way to small for the shock to fit in it! What am I doing wrong!!???!

The part missing is also the rear motor mount aswell as the top shock mount.

Looks to be right.You will need to install the mount on the motor first.Install motor then swingarm then shock.

Yup. I found it infuriating that you have to pull the swingarm to pull the motor. ........haha
