    old school custom made 250r pipe, looks hand made

    I saw this on ebay, curios if anybody knows who made it. It looks custom made, wondering if maybe it was a pipe taken off a factory ricer, since it looks hand coned. I know the factory racers had hand coned pipes.

    That looks like some regular ole, decent quality pipe from that time. Companies do not use the cone style manufacturing anymore because it is too time consuming. Many now are either stamped or hydroformed. With the cone style, the pipe can be 'tuned' for the particular motor by substituting different cones when they make them.

    its not that special.. I had the same thing on my 85.. its good for low and midrange though.
