    Twist vs Thumb

Survey question: Which do you prefer and why, twist throttle or thumb throttle? Advantages/disadvantages or just simply preference?

Thumb in the summer time an twist in the winter time because your thumb gets numb after a while of riding in the cold.

Twist.. To me it just feels comfortable, I wouldn't have it any other way

Depends what your riding and where. Blazing new trails and riding on unstable ground for sure a thumb throttle. Riding down roads and wide open trails twist throttle.

Grew up on motorcycles with twist throttle. My x came with twist throttle. No big deal. I've ridden many trikes and quads with thumb throttle. Switching my x back to thumb for now.

I grew up riding motorcycles so you'd think I would like a twist throttle but I have found that with ATC's and ATV's I prefer the thumb throttles. Can't really explain why but feels like I have more control. I would never want a thumb throttle on a motorcycle tho. Seems odd but riding technique is different enough that it makes a difference for me.

Thumb for me. I've owned several bikes with twist throttle but thumb seems easier. I would like to try a dirt bike with a thumb throttle.

It is personal preference , and I find thumb to be more comfy.
