Awesome, great to have you on the forum Brett! I hope you'll stick around and see how much of a following three-wheelers still have today, and how many people appreciate the presence of another "old school" racer on the forum. Thanks for joining and posting.
Look hes at the back of the pack![]()

Brett, welcome to the site!!! hope ya come back often to share some memorys!!!
Welcome Brett,
Please wet the appetite of our "yamaha" members of your "1985 Tri-Z factory ride". Top three at "Scores" Riverside International comes to mind!
Also fill in our members about your great success in the desert! Baja 500 ,@1000,
Parker 400?,ect. I believe Honda was under you for most these races.

anything you guys want to ask , just fire away. i will stick around as long as you want me to. i will see about getting some other old pro's on here. i saw a post about the fastest 3wheeler made . i would say the mugen 360 kit was the baddest animal. and then the husqavarna "prototype" 6 speed. only tracey dickson and I were the only riders to ever race them. only 2 built.
This just keeps getting better and better!WELCOME!!
I'm looking forward to any old stories or pics you will share with us.
Brett, could we get you to start your own thread like Mike did? I got LOTS of Tri-Z setup questions for ya![]()

honda never helped me. not sure why?

riverside was the scariest track EVER. wide open with zero visability

the tri-z days were awsome..... sure i can start a new thread
Hey Brett,
What did you think of the 85 Tri-Z? First year model had thier flaws. My 6'3" frame felt great. (Honda"s felt cramped) I had a hard time keeping it together.
When it ran, it was fast. The power ban was to my taste of riding.
Do you wish Yamaha invested more in thier race program to compete with the reds and greens? Tell use about your factory ride
Thanks
I ment to say "a" Honda was under you. not " Factory Honda " Sorry!Originally Posted by driscoll333

(compliments from stevie "2 tight" wright). if factory honda would have found out, it would have got ugly for 2 tight!!!!!HAHAHA
Did you use the original seat while your whole racing career or did you convert to the tank on the cross bar, or tri-z speaking, bars?
You mentioned the mugen 360? What is this? A new trike we do not know about?
