84 200x tranny help

Can anyone tell me which way the countershaft 2nd gear is supposed to face! It is stamped with a 2 C! Also, which way does countershaft 1st gear face. It is offset! Which way should the recessed side face?
And finally, what designates neutral on shift drum? Please help

Look at the picture closer. It has an extra line on the gear your talking about, and the other one does not. I hope that answers your question.
