84 250r stator! Interchangeable to other years?

Chasing a 84 stator, are any other models interchangeable?

81-84 atc 250rs take the same stator.Motor wise they are the same except the shift shaft on 83-84 is shorter than 81-82.

Atc300r, are you definitely sure about this? They do look the same though. Iam in Australia and want to make sure before I purchase one from the us. The 81 has a different part number but still will fit? The pic below is a brand new one from Germany, don't want to buy and it can't fit. Thanks

100% . I have 81-84 motors and they are all the same with the exception of the shift shaft.

Excellent, do you know where I could get a new one in the us? The one in Germany is pretty expensive or is that a reasonable price?

Im not sure what the cost is to you but that being new Id get it . They are hard to find new here in the US. Does it come with the flywheel.

Yes it comes with the flywheel and new, Iam hoping it fits on the 84!

81-84 stators are the same atc300r is right it will fit.

You should check out air-foolers.com. it a site like this dedicated to the 81-84 250r mostly. Lots of good info. Several guys from here are members there . Also some guys on there from Australia.
