    200s shifted issue

    So I'm trying to adjust the shifter on my 86 200s. Problem is after I loosen the locknut the adjuster is not moving. What should I be checking out? The trike shifts but shifter doesn't return.

    It sounds to me like you have two different problems. The shifter not returning could be a broken spring inside. The lock nut and adjuster on the opposite side of the engine from the shifter have nothing to do with the shifter. That is your centrifugal clutch adjustment. I don't know much about those problems. It sounds like something's wrong inside there too.

    Any luck? I'm curious. If it were me I'd just start working back with the side case off and look for something wrong. Sorry I don't have more to offer with that one
