What gas do you use and what additives do you run? Zmax Fuel Formula

What kind of additives do you guys use when filling up your trikes? Obviously 93 (premium) is the better then regular. I usually put in Zmax fuel formula and then dump in some Briggs & Stratton Advanced Formula Fuel Treatment and Stabilize.Click image for larger version.

Shell 91 octane because in Canada it doesn't contain Ethanol, and fuel Stabilizer (Stabil).

Whatever's cheapest and some occasional sea foam. I've got nothing that requires high octane and even when I've used it I can't tell a bit of difference. I'm talking about all my small engines, not just trikes.

We've started using aviation gas LL100 cause the no ethanol and it's not normally much higher than high test in price. I used some LL100 and stabil this year in the bikes that get stored in cold storage I will see this spring how they held up.

Okay here's my findings thus far

In all my small engines dirtbikes etc. I pour in just a tiny bit of av gas just enough to fill the carb if I know it won't be used in awhile .
I have a small yamaha generator that fires on the first pull every time after pouring fresh unleaded in

The problem with av gas is that it's thin very thin. It leaks past all of the seals in the tank carburetor etc plastic and metal tanks and it shrinks the seals too until you pour fresh regular gas in and they expand again.

On the 2 strokes I run 50/50 av and 93 that fixed all of my detonation problems and. On my cr250 it gave me more bottom end lugging power amazingly enough.
I wouldn't ever fill up my tank Full of av gas and let it sit it just leaks out

i usually just run 87 or 89 in my 250sx with about 1-2 oz's of sea foam with every/every other fill up just for peace of mind keeping the carb nice and clean

I've had good luck with Stabil. If I don't plan on running the machine for a month or more I turn the petcock to shut the fuel off and run it until it dies to remove most of the fuel in the carb. I will drain stabilized gas if it is more than 2 years old.
