    warrior or 400ex

i'm looking to buy a quad, and i can't afford the new yamaha 450 so i was thinking a warrior(i want a 4 stroke), but maybe a 400 ex. i ride trails alot but i also like to haul butt, and hit freestyle ramps. any suggestions. oh yeah i'm 6'4" 220.

if it's between those two, i'd go with the 400ex. it's a better machine.

The 400EX is the better choice for you. The Warrior is heavy...so Hauling butt, and jumping are definately not its thing.

Warriors are heavy and underpowered.....the 400ex actually weighs only 2 more lbs as the 300ex, which is quite suprising....must be that reverse mechanism....haha!!!

400EX all the way .......... Warriors are great machines if they are used how they are intended be used ..... but I dont think one would suit you with the criteria you presented.

Displacement always is a good thing, but a reverse would settle it for me.Nothing worse that pushing a quad UP,or OUT of somthing bad...

Since you are a big person and if you aren't a Honda loyalist then you might want to look at the DS650. You might be kinda of cramped on the 400ex. I'm 6' and 200lbs and the DS fits me great with plenty of room to spare. I wasn't a fan of the DS650 till I rode one.
