    200es front fork mods

I am looking for tech with detailed drawings or pics on front suspension options that retain all controls switches and indicator lights. Specifically rebuildable tubes or assemblys with minimal machine work to replace obsolete 1984 200es forks . Thx

Personally I have an 85 250es front end on my 200es and it works great. I didn't do the work but it's been trouble free for as long as I've owned it for 6+ years. I do suspect some welding was done on the steering stem. I've also heard that the 84 200m front end will work as it has hydraulic forks and may even be a direct replacement without too much trouble. I wouldn't worry about all your controls and such as you'll be able to put your original handlebars with all switches/indicator lights on the new forks easily. I can snap a few pics of my setup today if you need them.
