Atc250r rims difference?

One question
One of my 84 250r rims is badly buckled and there is a set of 86 250r rims for sale.
What is the difference between the 84 and 85/86 rims? Are they an inch wider than the 84? Thanks

yes the rims for a 86 r are 9 inch rims while yours are 8 inch. As far as I know they will mount but your going to need new tires.

You will also need acorn style lug nuts to run the 85/86 rims .
