    DG Exhaust

Thinking of putting DG exhaust on my '84 110.

DG is a decent exhaust. My buddy has one on his 200x and it sounds better than stock.

I put a dg on my 84 200es. At idle it isn't much louder, but when you open it up, it is quite loud. Not really sure if there was a performance increase. Not much if any.

Let us know what you think...give us a ride report!
Good to see an option considering the stock exhaust can get smashed up passing by the foot pegs and most are rotted and repaired that I have come across

I just put one on my yammie ytm 225... sounds great. If you have a stock system now, it will be a little louder with the DG but not as loud as a YZ 250 two stroke muffler on a four stroke bike! Lol

I just ordered one for my '74 90. Does it require re-jetting the carb?

More than likely you will need to rejet.

There loud. You can make shift a quiet core for them with parts from HMF. Makes them tolerable and better performing at mid range. My 350x was over 106db with one.

DG is obnoxiously loud. OEM is my favorite exhaust.

    I would agree.
I had one on my 350X and I loved how loud it was. I was 16 years old then. I'm not 16 years old anymore

Yeah that's why I made a quiet core and turn down for mine. Makes it tolerable and runs better than before. Might fab up a FMF q4 later this year with an xr400 header. But until then I'll keep with this.

I've got a Cobra and a DG on my two 110s. The Cobra sounds a lot better, the DG is really loud and sounds pretty obnoxious on such a little bike. I'd recommend a Cobra or keep the stock unit, there's little to nothing in terms of a performance gain with any of the exhausts.
