A buddy of mine just picked up a 1981 Honda 200, he said it is an s but it just says 200 on the frame. My question is did they make just a 200?

Yes they did. They were made 1980-1983. The difference was the tire size, the 200 had 25's when the S had 22's. I think the 200 is geared lower too.

Not to step on toes, but...... Let me clear up some wrong information.
The ATC200 was not made in 1980. They started them in 1981.
The only years for the ATC200 was 1981, 1982, & 1983.
In 1980 Honda made a ATC185. It was the ONLY year for that model.
The 3WW Spex pages will show this also. The Honda models was taken straight from a Honda Identification manual when the Spex Pages were made up some time ago.
