    Gear oil

    i just got my 84' r and I checked the gearbox oil in it and its like 90w hydraulic oil in it do i need to replace it soon? is it going to screw my tranny up .?

    if i were you take that out ASAP, you just use like 10-30 motor oil in the gearbox ... How do you know that it is hydraulic ?

    Honda makes a spefic gear box oil for 2 strokes. It is 80/85 wt. Thats what I run in mine. I was told by Dealership to run that.
