Finally put the sx to work

A friend asked me to help him cut a load of firewood today. This was the first load.[ATTACH=CONFIG]239543[/ATTACH
We went back to his house to unload it. We picked up another guy who helped us unload it into his yard. Then before we went back for another load, I said that I wanted to ride my sx out there. The pasture was only about a mile from town, but we had to go back about another 3/4 mile to get to where we were cutting. Since we couldn't cut any live trees, we had to pull the trees out of this ravine so we could cut them up. Click image for larger version.

ID:	239544 That's where the sx came in. It was small enough that I could back it into the ravine and pull the trees out with it. That took about three hours because the trees were fairly small and we could only get a handful of pieces of firewood out of each tree. We did manage to get this second load.Click image for larger version.

After unloading the second load, we split the bigger pieces and put them in the yard too. He should have enough wood to last for the rest of the winter unless it's a long one. Anyone else use their trike for working this weekend?

So it's winter, you're cutting firewood-he's in a t-shirt and there's no snow on the ground? What kind of winter is that? Lol

So was I. It was over 60 today and yesterday. There hasn't been much snow this year. It did start out at about 24 this morning. What kind of winter is it? MY kind. I love it!

No I don't believe that it's been lifted in the rear. If so, it was done before I got it. I think it's just the angle of the picture.
