    185/200s gear ratios

    I have a 185s 200s and old 81 200 with the big frame. I was wondering if the transmissions are geared different over the years. I read that some have a 3 up tranny while others are one down four up. I know the big frame 200 has a larger rear sprocket but I was wondering about the actual tranny ratios.

    I have quit a few trikes to build up for different uses and would also like to put one of these motors in an xr200 dirtbike frame and was wondering how the crazy granny low first gear some of these bikes have would workout in a dirtbike frame and if I would have to change the rear sprocket.

    No one down four up. Different years had either an up pattern or a down pattern, but no one down four up. I could be mistaken but I thought they were all five speeds. As far as actual transmission gear ratios, I have no idea.
