It sucks to get old
I don't have any videos of my own, but I am in a few videos that another guy they put in the same race as me, has taken.
Other than my C70 Honda which I bought around 1 year ago and have only ridden around 10 times, the race below from 8-18-2018 on the Truck track at Lake Elsinore is the first time I have been on any type of motorcycle or off road vehicle in 25 years since I broke my hip at the first AHRMA Vintage Motocross race of the season in 1993. I didn't have my bike dialed in yet either for the Elsinore race, and it bottomed out too easily off the big jumps, pinged its brains out anytime I accelerated hard, and was topped out 1/3rd of the way down the 70 mph front straight. My bike is set up very well now but still has no bottom end power so I have to slip the bejesus out of the clutch exiting every single turn.
The guy getting the hole shot on the green Kawasaki in the video below is Kurt Nicoll, who was 7 time British National Champion, 2nd place 4 times in the FIM World Championships, and 2 time AMA Supermoto Champion etc. I got a last place start then passed around 4 guys just before the first turn, I passed 4 more by the end of the first lap and a few more by the end of the race. I won all 4 of the motos for my class (although I was the only person in one of my classes cuz I'm so old), but I also beat several guys that were not in my class (most of which had big bore bikes), and that were also younger than I, and who had also been racing regularly, so I was happy with my results.

There must have been 30 Chinese women working there, maybe they knew 10 English words to get by. Seemed nice enough but no one knew the conversations they had.....prob don’t want to know...
I tell ya though in this one room there’s maybe 15 massage seats set up, waaay down at the end there was this other guy - big burley (looked like a saw mill worker) I spoke w/him outside says he’s there every two wks!
Then next to my wife I’m not sure what it was he/she not sure but had guy feet and hands that’s for sure.....
Kinda scary...
I’d do the pedicure again for sure though. My feet felt great afterwards.
All I could think of was that movie dumb and dumber when she breaks out a power grinder for his nails.

I was just looking to see if there were any articles about the CALVMX/AHRMA National I raced at last Sunday and came across one for the first round of CALVMX racing which was around 5 weeks ago, and low and behold, what do I see?...Well I'm sure that it might look to some people like I am intentionally running the guy next to me off the track, which couldn't be farther from the truth....(maybe....kinda sorta)....cuz I am actually a very friendly and courteous rider, and was just trying to show him which way the track went cuz he looked a little lost.
ummmm....I call bullsh_t barns...I know you tried to T Bone him!

The site has blocked me from viewing most photos so I have no idea what you posted, but a real answer to your question is that I originally wanted to get vintage scott goggles and the accompanying face mask, but they were over $200.00 on Ebay, so my other plan was to just use goggles and get a snap on face guard like they used to have but no dice there either, and the vintage jofa's leave the nose exposed, plus it doesn't block any dust, so I had an epiphany one day and remembered the dust masks that I used from Home Depot previously for doing some very dusty type of work, and whala, they work fine....unless a bike in front of me hurls a dirt clod as big as a soft ball right at my nose, which is exactly what happened last Sunday.

Scott goggles $119.99

Digging at my bosses house.🤯
Me and my wife cross the desert a lot on my Harley.....sometimes through sand storms but more often just higher winds.
Washing my bike I've noticed sand blasting all over the front. Never really looked for it or thought about it till I paid attention to it. I've got a lot of miles on it and it's old and am not tripping.....but if I bought a new one or a 50K CVO or some new Goldwing I'd be freaking out. Open sand storms are hard to predict and if your going somewhere your going somewhere so you ride.
I don't know what a solution for this other than taping off the chrome, fairing bra, etc....whatever...or just avoiding it all together. I always heavily wax the front for things like this but if it will blast chrome your out of luck.

Trying to be patient, waiting on a new casting to dry to see the results....... anywhere from 2-20 mins (figure I’ll give it half hour) honestly have no idea how it’ll look

Edit;
