I have some that are only about .005" thick with the same I.D. as the Tri-Z shaft.
Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it, but actually there is no wear on the cover, the photo may just make it look that way. Fortunately, they use a plastic sleeve/spacer over the shaft, and that is what would rub on the case. I do have around .010" of end play in it which I could use a shim for to reduce the next time I have the cover off (which I hope will not be for a very long time) if I wanted to. The shaft od is around 20 mm. I haven't looked at the machine shims at the hardware store yet but they may have something close. If they don't, not maybe a trans shim off some motorcycle will fit.

The guy I sold it to, early 50’s took it for a run. Came back a bit scared.
I warned him. My wife didn’t think he was gonna do the trade.
No place on my property to ride something like that
    Rokon is a better fit.
That's actually an 82 but yours looks nearly new. The 83 had the all new plastic design etc. My bikes are not clean at all, but they run and handle well which is my biggest concern. Mitch Payton of Pro Circuit used to build Huskys for people back in the day and even built up some new CR Husky's to sell outright. A friend of mine named Dean Modesett used to make pipes for the Huskys.

I actually got to meet The Rhinestone Cowboy Kent Howerton when I was in Japan doing development work on the 86 TECATE. We ended up hanging out for the day and doing some sight seeing and had lunch at a steak house, then we went to a musical instrument store because he wanted an electric keyboard but knew nothing about them, so I picked one out for him and he bought it. He was very nice and very down to earth.

Getting ready for the next build. Stroked out 110. The exhaust pipes came via FedEx today. Have never seen a Mac pipe, very high quality. They resemble the hooker but are about 7" shorter and have a cool adjustable bracket on the back.

I was wondering if you’d ever consider parting with her. I was scared to ask given what they sell for.

Going to Yuma AZ yesterday felt like going through a paintball battle. These little critters are migrating or something...they are all over.

I'll take this over an apartment or condo anytime.

    What do you live in?

    Nope, didn't forget.

Havin' a little fun after spending a few days runnin' fer parts and repairing equipment. dat OK wid you, Mommy?

Might surprise you to know that there is life outside of petty disagreements on the internet, like going for a three wheeler ride. Since Fabs does his share of wrenching, I'm fairly certain he'll forgive my delayed posting in lieu of repairing 2 of our own vehicles, 1 for an elderly neighbor, and re-installing the radiator for my skidsteer that had to be rebuilt, as well as replacing the bad water pump in the skiddy before this storm hit. These kinds of activities keep me from being married to repair shops and stealership garages, and paying someone to come plow my driveway.

Went out and got some video, but mounting the camera to the handle bars didn't work. Too much vibration. I'll have to try the chest mount strap, worked great on a quad run a coupla weeks ago after a previous storm.
