Having one hell of a time finding spark on my DR.

It's not like I'm a newbie at this but Jesus H.......I've checked every wire and everything at least twice. CDI is good (checked on running bike), stator is new, every wire gone thru.....just fustrating. I'm going to install a new coil but if that's not it it just simply has to be the new stator/ pick up I installed.

Nice Bike!!! Did you check the plug wire? It’s easy to overlook that part.

And another, actually two in the same school. This finish is a oil finish, gives it that rich luster look.

No patients involved coolpool just work. So this is my son’s business, he took it over from me this year. We were able to secure something like 15 floors his first year. We can prep and coat a 6000 sq ft floor in 5 hrs. That’s putting down 1 coat of oil. Water based finish needs 2 coats. This floor here we switched to a different screen it’s made by Norton and opposed to a typical screen that only covers 250 sguare per side these give us 1500 per side. Norton makes all kinds of abrasives for many different applications if anyone is looking I would suggest there.
Our next job we will be trying a Norton sand dollar pad should get more coverage out of those plus they are not suppose to leave swirl marks like a typical screen tends to do. Below is a pic of us screening, this floor hasn’t been sanded all the way down for 28 years, it’s about time that’s 30 coats of a 49% solids finish. Two big floors 12 and 14 k floors coming up next month.

Picked this up today in a nearby small town. The lady had a free sign on it, as I was cranking it over she came out and said it needed a new carb, she was the original owner. Called the D in Dam for the trailer, got it home was unloading it and D said “here’s your problem! A pinched fuel line. We had to re route the aftermarket fuel pump and that was it. For sale 450 obo. Already been offered 300 for it.

Wow, what a score! I would think it would be worth north of $450.00 as they are better than your average Craftsman or Yard Machine, no? But then again, it's only worth what someone will pay.

I would agree with you on the price coolpool, had it listed for 5 dropped it to 450, took 4 for it today. I really didn’t want it hanging around and had about an hour into it. The hydrostatic transmission seemed off to me, slow going in forward gear good in reverse, maybe as simple as a rod adjustment or as complicated as a shim or clutch. Either way it was pretty much free money as far as I’m concerned. The frame was a solid Steele frame opposed to the light weight stamped ones today.

I have spent the last hour looking for a old post about a trick to extend the cam chain tensioner a little bit with a piece of tubing, but I can't find it anywhere.
Does anyone have a pic of the mod or know where that post is?

    Thanks

Been raining here most of the time for the last 3/4 days. I gotta catch up on about 6-wks of construction work,(before/during the covid scare) of course while folks had some time off or worked from home ive had many calls come in w/even more work.... not complaining but its nice to pick and choose customers.
The wifes back to work too (childcare) she's got 62 kids under 5, lost over 40 due to covid.
*I'm thinking 62% of the parents are republican and 40% ish are democrats.*
I swear just walking through a walmart parking lot you can tell the difference( mask wearers or not in a open space no-one else around)
Anyway, just finished pouring a couple things-
"Dam" those floors came out great. I take it you bought the line machine? there not cheap huh?
