Checked trail cameras yesterday and found out that the moose have moved areas. We checked the camera over the moose kill and looked at literally thousands of pictures of ravens. Got a few nice pictures of some coyotes but weirdly no other type of carnivore came by? I thought for sure we'd see a fisher or marten or lynx or something? Not much left on that moose carcass now!

A nice surprise showed up when me and the mrs ordered some take out wings from a local pub, 2 free draft beers came with it! Gotta love small town living! The owner says he wants to start a draft beer delivery service and wanted to make sure the quality stays intact after travelling, lol.

Been lots of places in this state but can't say I've made my way to Waldo before. Definitely heard of it.

Passing thru? Or was that your destination?

Im cutting up toys to turn into other toys.

300ex frame, 450r shocks,on oem 400ex a arms. Made a new 300ex geometryshock tower for the 450r shocks. Didnt like those bolt on kits plus this was cheaper to do it the righter way. I started on my 350x swinger today fixing thay up.

This is what 7 days off work gets me into.

I've rebuilt a few Zenith carbs (if you remember those). I think their TVs were better, which isn't saying much...

I remember the first day we switched from Walbro to Zama carbs on the chainsaw production line, because I was one of the unfortunate souls tasked with setting them. The first few batches of Zama carbs were a total mess. I guess that's just the price for going from Mexican to Chinese built; it's all lost in translation.

Wana get stupid, Rochester done that with the feedback Quadrajet. Half electronic...all worthless.

Just passing through. Every time I've gone through there, I keep saying I'm going to take a picture of the city limit sign; I finally did.

To note, their water tower is nearly 100 year old and on the historic register.

I haven't been stopping too much at random places, because of Covid. I'm sleeping in my truck and resupply only when needed. Some of the small state parks I've visited, I haven't seen a single other person. Those are the unstaffed parks, more or less, historical parks. They may have a half mile hiking trail, but that's about it other than some information placards for the historical stuff.

I did make it by the cemetery where Arkansas's first governor is buried. Nothing there but the cemetery though, and it's right next to a cow pasture, so it smells a little bit. I've been meaning to stop by the place for years; now I finally did. History is super important...regardless of politics.

I got a little over twenty miles of gravel grinding in today. Not a single other person or vehicle seen the whole time. It was really relaxing.

I'm working up to the 100 miles for the Iron Ranger Challenge this year.
    https://www.nps.gov/buff/planyourvis...-challenge.htm

Normally, I could knock that out in a day or two, but 2020 has knocked my *(&% in the dirt. I've just had a hard time getting motivated for anything.

The Iron Ranger Challenge is happening in 2021 too. There's also the Arkansas First Day Hikes coming up. This is a statewide encouragement to get people outdoors.

Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a great place to experience, and if you have the time, sign up for one of the first day activities.
    https://www.nps.gov/hosp/getinvolved/januaryevents.htm

I'm probably going to spend New Years there. I'll be biking and hiking. If anyone wants to join me, send a PM pronto. Gulpha Gorge has camping spots with bathrooms, but no showers. (Edit: the way it's been raining the past couple of days, I doubt there'll be any trail activities, especially mountain biking. Think I'll have to hold off on that until next year.)

They're actually my neighbors units but I think they are made by "Wildgame Innovations", and use an SD card. I remember him stating they aren't that expensive ~$100 Cdn.
