I put together my bike carrier today. The other day I called a few local places to find out what kind of models and prices they carry.

They were all over priced and if they order it would take forever. One shop told me they've been selling Bikemaster carriers for years, so I ordered one for $129.00 and 2 days later it's already on my truck.

I rode my Buell all day in the blazing sun and heat, all up and down the coast of South Shore Massachusetts. My buddy was on his Buell as well. They're air cooled so on a hot day it's sort of like riding a gas grill. I have a bleeding blister on the inside of my thigh, I think we did over 200 miles today. Started on Cape Cod beaches and followed the shore line up towards Boston, stopping at many different beaches and harbors today. We've all been cooped up with shite weather the entire spring, so everyone was out this weekend enjoying the long awaited summer weather. The women, my lord the women... The bikinis get smaller every year, the beach is great. I am astounded at the sheer number of sa-mokeshows we saw today.

That's my buddy in the picture.

This has been a true test for me and it is ongoing. I grabbed a handful of brake as we rolled past this gem, a gall-danged half liter KTM on the side of the road of all things, runs, asking $650. Now I'm selling everything, I'm hoping to move, I'm downsizing, but for frig's sakes if I didn't have to use my left hand to hold my right from reaching for my wallet. The "Take my money!" glaze was coming over my eyes, we had to split. God willing I don't jump in my truck tomorrow morning and go back for it. This is difficult for me.

Went to look at an old man bike. It's a 2005 and the speedometer says 1050km, or 650 miles.

There are some things on the bike that say very low mileage, but there were a couple that said somebody jimmied with the speedo, particularly the foot peg rubber. It probably was used for less than 5000 miles, but the idiot thought he'd get more money for it by messing with the speedo and that makes me want no part of it.

Local cruise night....tonight's theme was "Bike Night". There was of course a sea of H-Ds with some of their accompanying attitudes but there were a few nice things that caught my eye.

There were others but these tickled my fancy. I don't know what swing arm is being used on the CBX. The Guzzi was my favorite.

Actually there was some real nice Harleys there as well.

Doing my favorite thing in the whole world! Removing discontinued case studs.

I probably should have recussed myself due to a conflict of interest, but what's done is done.

    Cool!

I've been thinking about getting into it.......purely as a hobby/pleasure thing.

I'm close to,a small private field which incidentally planes like yours come and go........I'm assuming for the rich folks.
