Out playing with my new saw. It is only 30cc, but it gets the job done. It is much easier to use for trimming than my larger saw.

^^^ Very cool little bike. It could use some decals...

^^^ Did you hear about the antenna wedding? The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was to die for.
Caught this image the other day. Watching waterfowl gliding on the lake. Poultry in motion.
I picked up this Moto-Computer awhile back. It is early 80s and intended for use on older Goldwings. I thought it was a nice piece so I thought I might try to install it on my old CB. It has a mountain of wires for this sensor and that sensor and cruise control, etc.........but suprisingly the main hookup is simply 3 wires.
I am not going to use most of the features as there is no way....but I thought the trip computer, fuel usage, rpm, speedo would be nice to have. I've never seen one of these running but I'm sure they are out there.
I held my breath a little to see that after nearly 40 years of being un-opened it would even power up..........but after the 3 leads were connected to the 12v power supply it lit right up!

Just think NASA sent a man to the moon with more primitive technology with that. That looks like it came off of Airwolf!
All done and back together complete with a magnetic switch and a homemade roller frame and belt guard.
All 6 CTQ points on the blades are within .001" of each other and the stops are all nuts on. I didn't realize how many back and forth adjustments it would take to get everything lined up relative to each other.
Time to get back to bikes!
BTW, this is what the Mrs. did this morning while I was busy puttering as she calls it.
Hard to get all the detail into a photo as these are very small, 6" X 6" square for the first two and the last one is only 3" X 3". She has a hobby quality photography box to take better photos so the imagages can be transposed onto coffee mugs and whatever else someone wants.
Did the Mrs. dip those square?.......looks nice.
I know a lot of folks are dipping things into tubs full of water with paints resting on the top......like how they do that cam stuff of bike parts. I've been wanting to attempt that process on an old helmet I have.....just for fun
Sounds like you're talking about water transfer which transfers a preselected image onto an object. I'm not 100% sure what you call what she does, but I know it involves pouring water based paints, silicon, soap and likely a few other chemicals that are slipping my mind and the results are always unique. At the end of it all she uses a heat gun to get it to set before disperses out and all mixes together. They look best when wet, but it's hard to get them into the booth to snap photos before they dry. May end up being a two person job if she goes commercial with it.
She hasn't figured out how to do anything other than a flat surface and even then an 8" X 8" surface is too large for her to control. Then there is the issue of trying to clear coat silicon to bring back the just painted look. I'm going to get her some commercial fisheye retardant and see if that helps.
I would assume that you could get her images to duplicate using water transfer, so that's an option. She has coffee mugs done with the images and says she can get tee-shirts as well. It all depends on the pixels as the images blur our after a certain size is reached.
Well the easy part of mounting the moto-computer was straight forward enough. The mounts are nice and tidy but the location looks weird on the bars. It's really the only feasible way it can be installed though. Everyone who's seen it says "is there another place you can mount it?"
If I cleaned up the wires and took it outside and uncover the bike fully it may look different.......in its entirety.

Knappy, can you post a better shot of the red bike? You've piqued my interest.
