Looks good!! John, that looks like bjb’s platinum clear- i really like that stuff, pours really thick though but it will pick up finger prints when “not” wanted, ha “if” thats what u used. I got about a quarter gallon left i’ve been playing with, its really tough stuff.

What grit do you go down to before you start polishing? I ask because I had never gone finer than 2000 before, but on my latest project which was black I couldn’t get rid of the cloudiness until I used 3000 grit and wow did it ever make a difference in the final product.
    It sucks to get old

I usually start at 2000. Every now and then 1500 when I'm messy but with Meguiars 105/205 system it usually does fine.

3000 usually works. Black is a to use. Shows every imperfection.

I worked. Now I start to enjoy our long weekend. It is "Family Day" on Monday. Most things are closed. I have Monday off. And yes I get paid for it.

    Mobile squeezing

Grampa, nienty years old, gave me a vice so i made it to where i can remove it from my shed bench and move it to another receiver thats mounted on a removeable table that attaches to the side of my flatbed truck. It has the pieces that you can put on to hold round stock too.Click image for larger version.

    Nice pic Shep!

Looks like nice living....not having a neighbor right next to you. Is your one neighbor with the trash/cuttings still giving you grief?

Its a nice area, the mass pike (highway) is about 1/4 mile away through the woods so at times you can hear the noise. The street we live on is kinda steep so when its snows no-one uses it.
Oh ya that neighbor.... he wont even make eye contact with me, i’ll wave but he looks the other way. The folks in this area usually live here about 5yrs then move on following work or companies they work for so hopefully he’ll be one of them.
When it does snow, atleast one car ends up off the road on this corner, steep downhill and a sharp turn to the left, they just dont slow down. Click image for larger version.

Hope to live here until i cant afford the TAXES anymore. Then move somewhere warm....
I just cant seem to load upright pics today, hmmm
My son AJ spent all day outside playing in the snow burned through half tank of gas. He’s doing donuts like a pro!
