I had to fix a few things, will likely test next weekend
I got a call from a guy on Saturday that said he had 10 acres of antique mowers, signs, engines etc. EVERYTHING is for sale he says.... I get out there, I'm baffled by the massive amount of junk, good junk, and minty fresh stuff stacked in barns. Everything I try to buy, prices sky high, or he doesnt know what he wants for it or dont wanna sell!! Think hes been watching American Pickers. Good thing I had a suitcase of money and a trailer with me. Hauled a full load of snowflakes back home. I tried buying a 2 gallon gas can from the guy, old style plastic can with caps and vent, guy tells me he doesn't know what his "buddy" wants for it!? Its a friggin gas can man. I was trying to break the ice, get my foot in the door but all I got was it slammed on my tail. Then I had to go play salt truck driver. Now I'm all tired and such. End rant.
Crap^ that stinks
I need to have a tag sale...
I'm trying to finish a house to sell, build a new one, and run a full time excavating crew, I've actually sold a handful of items, dont really need anything taking up space at the moment, as I dont have much excess room, then this gets dropped off from my unkle for me to work on. It's way too nice.
Um ^
Wow!
Love crawlers
That's the problem with picking.......... American Pickers, the Internet ....everyone is educated. There's still deals to be gotten but its not like it was 5-8 years ago
Was scraping moss off my trim so I can paint it, looks like the last coat is 20 years old.
Then I got bored because scraping moss sucks and started cutting and gathering deadfall from around the canal. This will be our 7th burn of rotten wood gathered from a 250’ strip. The PO wasn’t much for cleaning up.
And as always there were union supervisors on hand.

replaced all the gd fuel and vacuum lines on my quadrunner. took longer than i’d like to admit. one of the lines from the carb to the pump i had to force a 1/4 splicer barb into the 3/16 line to add a short piece of 1/4 because the barb on the pump is 1/4 and on the carb it’s 3/16, riddle me that?! only line i didn’t replace was the 5/16 carb breather line with the T at the top, didn’t anticipate also needing 5/16 line, it was loose on the carb so i cut it and flipped it so the piece fit snug again and spliced the cut back together. who’s the monster that incorporates 3 different necessary sizes of hose
edit: haha, so i already started it up afterwards and it ran fine but just out of curiosity i wanted to look in the manual to see if i needed to prime the pump or anything or if it’s even possible but before i even found my answer i realized i forgot a critical step! i didn’t remove the engine! (see uploaded pic included with edit) i didn’t remove the fender either. i’ll make sure i remove the engine next time

/\ wtf!?!?!?!?!? /\
I’m sure it’s a mistake but I don’t even know what it’s supposed to say in place of remove “engine” haha
Elcamexican, if your looking for a great lifetime roof moss killer, get ahold of some “zinc” new or used wheel weights and silicone them 20 inches apart on your highest roof line (top caps) within a year all the moss will die and the rain will wash it off. The zinc trick my grandfather has used since the 50’s. You won’t be scraping that moss ever again assuming the roof rain water washes over over it. Silicone or if u have a low pitch roof just toss em up there near the top.
Shep
Ps lead weights work just as well if not better but not a healthy choice....
