Finally got a 200x

I have had 185s, 200s, regular 200, a big red 200 and 250, but finally picked up a 85' 200x. A drove 4 hours one way and 4 hours back after work to pick up this baby up for $400. Around here it would easily be a 800$ bike. Its mostly all there and came with a whole other rolling chassis, 2 extra tanks, 2 gold front rims,and an extra bottom end with a box full of extra engine parts. The tires are all good and it looks mostly all original besides a Super Trap exhaust.

It's the usual "ran last year before I put it up" deal. But i'm not worried about the engine because I have a fresh bored 200x cylinder and piston to go in it and 5 other 185/200s engines for parts. I just hope it doesn't have any tyranny issues.

I'm going to clean it up, chain, sprockets,bearings, replace the seat cover and fork gaiters, paint and polish a few things and keep it as much as original as i can. I'm hoping the other frame is an 83-85 also so I can do and auto-x swap with a 200s motor. Paint the frame yellow and install black maier fenders.

Nice score. For the love of mankind hurry up an recover that seat. Right there is 85% of it's cosmetic issues.

Hey out here, that's an outstanding deal. These are usually trashed here in the land of changing seasons.

We wish we lived close to the Cali trike market too. You can get a 200X for a dime bag and a 64oz. fountain drink. TwoFiddy ARRRRs are like $417 unless it has paddle tires and a 300 kit and then it's no less than $800 cash money.

The sticker on the fender says " Yes its fast, NO You can't drive it" Lol If it wasnt missing a couple letters I would be tempted to keep it.

A seat cover is mandatory. I found a nice blue one on ebay that just says Honda on the back but the one that says 200x on the side has seamed stitches down the sides that don't look good too me.

I was wondering how common the red handlebars are on these? I kinda like the black one with no support brace bar in the middle on the other frame but will keep the red one for looks.

I was also wondering if anyone could tell me why the rear fenders don't match up all the way to the gas tank right under the seat?
