Okay here are the specifics on the Chassis.
All of the Team BAPP Bikes used Dickson "Sprint" Frames and front Springers. As noted earlier I built this bike the way I would have built it back in the day if I had unlimited $$$ and resources. With that being said I used a Pauter PJ-1 frame vs the Dickson. The PJ-1 was built by Pauter Machine for the PJ-1 Race Team. Not sure how many of these frames were built but from all accounts there were very few. The frame is several inches longer in the front. At least two inches longer out the back and the motor is four to five inches lower and moved forward. It has a very low center of gravity. Excellent for TT and Flat Track Racing.

I did use the Dickson Springer on the front. I always love the springer front ends. They are simple yet effective suspension. I want to personally Thank JWheeler for donating this piece of the bike. I knew way before I started this build I had to have this piece.

We'll start at the Front and work our way to the back.

For bars I have Renthal. They were what everyone ran. I used a "CR" Style Clutch Lever and Perch as well as a "CR" style push button kill switch. The twist trottle is a BAPP 1/4 turn.

The front Hub is an aftermarket Dickson. The front Wheels are Trick Trike Turbine with a Goodyear 21x11x8 Compass. You had to have a Goodyear knobby for the front.

I lowered and used cleated pegs. You lowered the pegs so you would have a lower center of gravity.

Finally the Rear Fenders are Trick Trike LowPro race fenders. The tank is a stock Honda ATC90. The rear seat cover is a Saddleman's. I wanted to have a seat cover made to replicate the Team BAPP covers but I kept running into road blocks. Still haven't given up on that yet.
I used "Sunburst Yellow" for the base and added the other traditional BAPP Logo Colors. I did the paint myself. I did have the 'Blue" pinstripe and text add.

The Cylinder is an Aftermarket Pauter Machine with a 61.5mm Piston. The Piston is a OEM Honda CB750 piston machined down to work in the ATC90 motor. It also uses a 6mm spacer plate to accomodate the ATC110 15mm eye Stroker Crank and brass base gasket.

Crank is a 63mm Krazy Stroker. It is lightened and reinforced. Check out the comparisons vs a stock crank. The rod is so far out on the fly weights that it is machined down and the center cases had to be machined just so the rod would not hit. Would like to Thank 3WW member Kickstand1 for donating the crank for this build. I have never seen one like this. I bet at high RPM's you can fell it from your hands to your feet. lol

With this much Volume and Compression you have to have the motor vented. I vented the upper valve cover, crank case and clutch side dip stick.

I would like to thank everyone who help me with this bike. It is still a work in progress. As I run across things that I think will make it better I will add them to it. Again I built this like I would have back in 1980 if I would have had the resources. It is my take on a Team BAPP bike. It is not 100% correct but close with my own touches.

Joseph, what a great read, and an awesome outcome. I just love how you have remained true to that teenager whose dreams came from a simpler time.

We all had our dream machines, mine was the 87 t3 and I've owned two in my life, but you managed to build yours from scratch which is different. Right down to the last detail and turned your dream machine into reality. (Corvette summer anyone?? [emoji854]) That is what three wheeling is about.

Now all you need is some other like minded souls, with period correct machines, to get out onto a track and rock on....... [emoji848], well maybe not.... 1980 was a long long time ago, and if your anything like me your knees ain't what they used to be [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]

Ozquad44 you are correct about the "Simpler Times". Its crazy how things change in such a short time. In relation to the grand scheme of things.
My brother and I have plans to take our "Dune" bikes out to the dessert and have one good ride and our "Race" bikes to Pine Lake - Ashtabula OH at least one time. Kinda a Bucket List thing. I raced the Nationals at Pine Lake on a Three Wheeler and a Quad but would love to take my 90 around the track for Old Times Sake.
I've been to Glamis but did not have a bike. I asked myseft then.....what am I doing out here without a Bike. It has to be an awesome thing to ride those dunes. Pic's do not do it justice. It's like the Grand Canyon and Niagra Falls. You have to see them in person to appreciate it.
Thanks again for the compliments and for seeing our vision.

I pretty much had it finished last year but not 100%. I still have a few minor details I would like to complete but it is close enough to share.

I will start this tread like the others and post pics of the finished bike and then specifics at a later date detailing the engine, chase and other components.
It was build from nearly all NOS and reconditioned period correct parts.

They are a copy of the Trick Trike Low Profile Race fenders. Jeremy (90 Crazy) found a good original set and had a mold made to reproduce them. They are basically the 90 fenders moved down about three inches.

Second a board member also hooked me up on something you dont see very often today......
A NOS BAPP tank strap. (Keep and eye out on ebay. I hear there has been a "Mother Load" of super trick BAPP and other aftermarket and Hi Performance items found that should be hitting the market soon!)
