Ok so I know the 2 years are different from each other. Mine is a 1985 and has paint loss where the knees would be if you were to straddle the tank. Has anybody painted one and what paint code is an exact match or pretty close to it. Thanks!

There are lots of threads on the correct color white for the 350x. According to one source, the 1985 color code was NH23, and 1986 was NH138. 86 used a brighter truer white since the plastics were white (the tank would have looked bad if the original 85 white was used when compared to the bright white plastics of 86).

That is my understanding as well. But I thought that paint has been discontinued and was hoping for a cross reference color that would be almost the same as "lemming white"
I think paint shops can still mix the color based on the honda paint code, but I've personally never done it...

Clean and shine up the best area of the tank and take it to a automotive paint shop and have them optically match it. My local shops it's an extra $40 for the service but if you want a truer match that's the method.
Thank you both for the responses. I will see what the local shops cost to optically match it. It's a very nice tank and would like to get it to a true color. I figured somebody out there has repainted an 85 tank and could give me a code as to what they used.
