I'm not saying I'd pay the full list price (who does?), but it'd peak my interest and I'd probably try and strike a deal. People list stuff all the time for crazy prices here. I know selling is a different thing, but I haven't sold a trike in years so I don't care too much.
The way I see it is it's half a liquid R. The average 3rd gen here starts around $2,000. If I can get a roller for $300 or possibly a little more and slowly piece it together, I know It'll cost more in the end but I can just slowly build a real nice machine from the ground up and spend at my own pace rather than jumping on one.
Side note, I'm happy with my air fooler. None of that water cooled poo weighing you down and holding you back. Pure POWER lol. Wish I did have a softer rear shock though. Or a progressive spring like a works shock.
