    1986 moto 4 cdi ok for 1984 225dx?

    Trying to help a neighbor fix his 3 wheeler and he bought the wrong CDI. Will a 1986 moto 4 cdi work? Thanks in advance.

    If it's a moto 4 200 it should. And that looked to be a 85 DR

    Looks like you're right. He just spent $100 on a CDI and I'm wary to cut the plug going in to wire it.
