Carb issue on 83 200x

I fixed my slide pin in my stock carb doesn't run right floor it in second or third gear top end it burps and spits and sputters the needle is in the third groove from top and my fuel/air screw is at 1and 3/4 what u guys think running to lean or too rich

Is your trike stock?

I think it probably needs to be rebuilt

Mine did that. Timing tensioner was bad, timing was off, and I think I had a bent valve. We need lots more info on the trike besides carb info.
Any aftermarket engine/intake componets? Does it have new internals? Have you checked your fuel quality or what color the spark plug is?

Trike has full dg rcm exhaust not sure if it had any motor work done to it and the spark plug I put new one in it ran it for five minutes and it black and wet like its way to rich getting way to much fuel starts first kick every time has 125psi of compression
