Do you have riding experience on other 2 strokes and this one is acting different? Not much info in your post but I would say give it more gas as you let out the clutch based on the info you provided.
Does the bike roll OK? Can you push it around?

Yup rolls good and once if it does get going goes through the gears good and runs right
Have you tried to take off in second gear?
How do the reeds look?
1. Are you sure it's actually in first? If you're stuck in second that could be an issue.
2. Has the gearing been changed? Does it have some tiny tear sprocket because the previous owner wanted it to be the fastest three wheeler in the world (even faster than a tecate)?
3. Did some previous owner port the snots out of it, so it now has a powerband that starts pulling at 4500 and signs off at 4550, and doesn't have enough low end torque to pull the skin off of pudding? I had a cr125 Elsinore like that.
These are just a few suggestions, trying to throw stuff out there others may not have thought of.

It might help to check the compression as well...maybe its low and needs a top end.
Put it up on blocks, remove the spark plug, put it in gear and try to move the kick starter, or turn the rear wheels by hand and report back.
The reeds are Brand new
And the top end is fresh to, this problem seemed to get progressively worse when I first got it itd go no problem then occasionally it would stall or bog really bad when taking off now it's rare for it to go
I bought the bike blown up needed the top end done so I got that done, reeds were a bit dodgy so got new ones, that's all the work that's been done to it and all very recent this problem started getting bad on my first ride that was actually a decent distance other than that just went up and down the road and this problem wasn't to bad, can't really think of any other useful information
Where are you in proximity to WPG?
About 30 minutes north of the perimeter just past Selkirk
