    225dx help

    hey
    i gotta 225dx and the carb leaks all the time ive replced the carb and then bought a kit for it and it wont stop leaking

    Whats leaking? .... I'm assuming its coming out of the bowl overflow - which in that case, you need to either replace the needle valve or remove whatever is keeping it from seating properly (ie dirt, rust, varnish).

    If it is leaking air, through the carb, there is a tiny screw that can come loose ,on the carb,which allows air to get by if it is loose or missing.On my 2 dx's the screws do not serve much purpose other than plugging the hole.So try to tighten it if it is loose.
