
Assuming you pulled the shock shaft assembly all apart, make sure you align the rebound clicker numbers with the orifices in the shaft nut. The way I did it was to torque the shaft nut (the one with the orifices) first, then loosely attach the clevis (but thread it on all the way). Attach the clicker and set it to 1. Then back the clevis off slowly while watching for the largest orifice to be visible through the slot in the shaft nut. Once it is centered, then lock down the clevis with the circular jamb nut. Once it's all locked down, check that the clicker works correctly and observe the orifices. 1 is the largest, they get smaller for 2 and 3, and then 4 has no orifice at all.
