    86 250r front end

    I just got this complete front end, brake caliper and all, is anything the same as my 86 350x, and how much are they worth, i have never sold on ebay how much would it bring you think? thanks andrew

    Thats an 85 front end. Forks go for anywhere from 50 to 100 usually for the pair. Triple clamp, usually I find them for 15. Front brake setup goes for around 50 give or take.

    There is no way to tell the differance in 85-86R forks that I know of without opening them up, 85 had 2 springs 86 has one

    86s had black triple tops.. I got 86 Forks on mine.. they got black triples.. i like it.. gives it a 86 look

    Hey, i know you cant tell in the pics but from what i can tell they have been all wire wheeled down, and they took the honda think off the front to clean it to, I am asuming they are the 86;s because he has 4 200x's and a few other 86 250r parts, his one 200x is worth about 4grand and does 90mp/h

    You guys are talking about the hole triple tree right, not just the little black caps over the valve cores for the oil

    Yes, but the lower triples on both are alumium but the tops are black on 86's all of them had those uper Caps (valve stem caps) on them.

    k thanks, do you think someone spent the time to sandblast to top set back to the grey aluminim, or are they only 85s it doesn;t really matter to me but want to sell them with what year they really are

    I personally would not sell them as being 86's. If I saw them on ebay listed as 86 front end I would pass it up just because they look like 85's to me. Your going to get about the same amount as you would if they were 86's anyway.
