Was home by 12 that Saturday. Have the muffler welded first so the muffler shop can bend to it. Sounds and performs great. Better than my dg. Way better. Looks good to imo.

Do you have any pics available? My bro might also want to do the same on his 350x. He's running a new DG on it as well. I was lucky when I bought that R, OE muffler was in great shape, just had it ceramic powder coated.

I never rode anything with barkbusters on it. Nor did I want to add them to my off road stuff. Always had a fear of going over the bars and can't get my hands out fast enough... Snap both wrists... Just a fear. I ride a bunch of single track with some tight tree lines.
Yeah not sure I like the barkbusters. They were $25, so not a big expense and easy to take off. I ride mostly trails also, and have never banged a hand up, but yeah now that I think about it, I have had to hop off pretty quick a few times when wiping out, I can see your hand getting caught on the inside.

I’ll try and take some up close pics with out the fenders later. Remodeling my living room and downstairs bathroom at the moment. Garage looks like a disaster zone to say the least. I’m running 8 discs and it’s quieter and more powerful than my DG everywhere. I wrapped my header and mid pipe in fiberglass to cover up the old ness and I actually had to go one size up on my main jet from the DG. Very happy with it.

I like that setup Shawn. Did you use your original header pipe? What needs fabricated by a muffler shop?

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
The header is a DG header I got when I bought that first system. Allegdly they flow better then the oe but who knows. I think an original would be fine. I had the mid pipe made at a local muffler shop. It’s overkill , 16ga stainless, but it’s all they had in 1.75”. They flared it to fit the header (1.5”). And then I had a local fab shop tig weld the bracket onto the SupertrApp. (Bracket comes with muffler) photos

It’s a bit uglier than it looks but that header wrap hides it lol. Flows nice and sounds way better than that horrible DG. I’m only at 8 discs wich is where SupertrApp says should be fine up to 450cc stock. Mines a very mild 350 (.050 over) I have extra discs if I ever wanna play with it or I pony up some money for a big bore kit. But I’ll just keep this for now.
