    Tecates are fast, Tri-Z's are fast, 250r's are fast. They all have different personalities and any of them should be faster than a 350x in acceleration and top speed. 350x is no slouch though. There wasn't a thumper out there that could give it half a race until the 400ex came out in '98.

    I enjoyed the privilege of taking some laps around Raffas ice track one of the last years Ice Fest happened on one of MIK6's Sprock Tecate 300. Awesome fun! Different than the R's that I'm much more accustomed to?? Yep. But I'm sure I could get quite comfy on a Mean Green with more seat time. The only thing that has kept me from doing a Tecate is they and their parts just are not as common and easy to source, well, that, and I am just plain out of room to store more trikes till I get a barn built. I think they are a fine machine.

    Disclaimer: I am NOT nor have I EVER been a racer. Just like to ride and make sweet smelling blue smoke to piss off the hippies.
