The electric starter works fine. Head light works but acts like I have a dead battery. It is not charging the battery I’ve been charging it every 2 or 3 days with a battery charger. I’m thinking I have a bad connection somewhere or could the voltage regulator cause this?

Could be a bad wire connection , regulator or lighting coil .
