    10.25:1 piston in pull start engine...Can I pull it?

    Putting together a 200s engine out of spare parts . Have a 200x jug with 10.25:1 wiseco . Will this be hard to pullstart ?

    Probably. It will especially be hard on the pull cord.

    Doesn't the 200S have a compression release in the valve cover? I'm pretty sure it does so use that cover with the 200X stuff and you might be fine

    It's not all that bad for me but, then again I have a big cam with a lot of duration and that will take some comp. away but I still think it would be doable with a stock cam.

    No it won't. I had a 200s with a 12:1 piston. That puppy broke ropes left and right.
