For flat track I just take the top short spring out and move the forks up in the clamp that way I can just put the spring back in. If I gas it hard enough for the front wheel to come up the front wheel will try to hang down and keeps the front down. If you want, just change the top short spring and the bottom short spring around and that will bring the front lower with full mobility! the lowering link on the back should be good. I Have Never had my rear shock modified. I have ALWAYS ran an 88trx rear spring lowered by the spring adjuster and also the lowering link! Just simplest and easiest. Sounds like you are leaving this set for FT racing only?

I decided on an aluminum spacer under the rebound spring. I've made a bit of progress so I'll post a couple of pics.

That front is a good choice too. I can answer your fork question, sorry. Where are you planning on racing?
I'd really like to race 50th ann. Pine lake race next year. Plan is to finish this up and try to get some practice In. I'm in Huntsville, AL and don't think there are any trike races close unfortunately, may have to travel a bit to find somewhere.

I hope you can make it up for the 50th! It's always a good time but this one will be epic.
Looking for a Bassani silencer for a 2nd gen tecate, the style with the movable mount. 1st gen will work

I realize this is a VERY old thread but What tires and size are on the trike on your profile and how do you like them?
