    86 200x oil cooler question

Looking to get an oil cooler for my 86 200x, no idea where would be a good place to mount it or which cooler to even get. I found this one on ebay and it looks like id be able to mount it on the frame in front of the engine. Its decently sized (about L8 x H3.25 x W1.75in) but im afraid it would get destroyed by rocks or the cylinder head would get to hot being it would restrict the air flow to the cooling fins mounting it in front of the cylinder. Thanks for any input!

Yes i was going to suggest talking to him because he specializess in those motors. Wonder if the cooler could be mounted like or near the front number plate? Just a thought. Good luck, sounds like it will be fast.

Why don't you modify and run a 350X oil cooler??

Cheap, easy to find and you can tap them NPT....

Please explain? You list a oil cooler kit for $95.00. Is there another one for a big bore?

Oh. OK. Just found it weird to have something listed for sale and you have not made them yet.

    NPT Is National Pipe Thread.
Tap size 1/8 27 NPT would go in series at the top of your clutch cover. That's where you access the oil galleries.
