Hey guys! Just been working on my 85 250R and got my cylinder honed by a buddies shop. There is still some very light scratches up and down. should I be worried?

If you can feel the groves with your fingernail then it’s going to loose compression but I would run it break it in and do a compression test and make sure it’s with in specs .

Do those scratches line up with the ring gap ?. If so the end of the rings need to be lightly smoothed over.
