85 honda 250es

just picked up a 250es for cheap but the seat is completely gone and I'm finding that there are almost no entire seat assy's available. Wondering if any of the seats from other machines would work on my machine because I have found a great plenty of R seats for reasonable prices. Also wondering what anyone thinks about running a kenda scorpion k290 on the front. good or bad idea?

Completely gone....meaning it's vanished and not on the machine?

Or "completely gone" as in it's there but destroyed?

There are a few really nice complete seats for atc250es - 1985 thru 1987 in black or grey on ebay. I have purchased two in last year or so, one very recently. But, be prepared to pay a kings ransom. Sadly greed seems to be consuming our hobby like a cancer.

Old guy hit the nail on the head it also seems to me there are guys tearing good machines down because parting them out is far more lucrative then selling the machine as is
